DUKE OF EDINBURGH
Last weekend, students embarking on their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award took on the challenging terrain of Khao Mai Kaeo for their qualifying journey. The hike tested their navigation skills, stamina and ability to work as a team. The journey was not without its challenges, as the groups faced several wrong turns and the demanding conditions of the trails. However, the students demonstrated remarkable resilience, quickly regrouping and learning from their mistakes. Their determination to succeed was matched by their ability to support one another, offering encouragement and guidance along the way. By the end of the hike, all students had not only reached their destination but also grown in confidence and teamwork. This journey was a testament to their character and commitment to the values of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Well done to all involved.

SWISS EDUCATION GROUP VISIT
This week, we were delighted to welcome representatives from the Swiss Education Group, who delivered an interactive workshop to our LXX (Year 12) Business students. John A. Daly, Academic Director, introduced the concept of emotional selling, emphasising the power of emotions in driving consumer decisions.
The students learnt about the key stages of emotional selling and how to create compelling appeals that connect with audiences.
Workshops like these are part of our broader supra-curricular pathways programme, designed to expose students to global opportunities and help them apply their academic knowledge in practical, professional settings. It’s clear that we have some budding marketers in our midst, and we look forward to seeing how these skills develop in the future.
Thank you to the Swiss Education Group for providing this valuable learning experience.

RECEPTION TRIP TO THE VERAPHAN THEATRE
We had a wonderful trip to the Veraphan Theatre where our core text, The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson, came to life on stage. The children behaved wonderfully, following instructions, walking sensibly and enjoying their popcorn while keeping the area tidy. The performance sparked their curiosity about different places around the world, and back in the classroom, they used question words like "who," "what," "when" and "why" to ask the snail about the exciting places she had visited. It was a memorable and educational experience for all.

U13 and U15 FOBISIA Volleyball:
Over two full days, RST hosted the official FOBISIA volleyball invitational tournament with four courts in action from early morning to late evening. In their first large international tournament experience, our U13 boys and girls secured third place, while the U15 boys also finished in third and the U15 girls attained fifth place. Special mentions go to the following students who were voted as MVPs for their team and were credited with a tournament all star ribbon - U15's Kun and Paiwann and U13's Atom and Pan Pan. Congratulations to all teams on their efforts.
Round Robin U9 Football at RST:
We successfully hosted six boys teams and three girls teams who participated in competitive 5 v 5 football fixtures. It was a fantastic opportunity for our young students to showcase their skills and gain valuable match experience for their BISA invitational tournament at SHB.

Our Year 7-9 students participated in their first mini softball tournament alongside NIST, Patana and RIS. Our teams performed commendably and enhanced their understanding of the game. A great job by all involved.
