Our School is very busy, particularly during the morning drop-off and the afternoon pick-up times. It is our responsibility to keep our community safe when driving to and from the campus. We urge you to stick to the speed limits, avoid overtaking and avoid blocking the drop-off zones. If we can all follow these rules, the traffic will flow better and our community will be safer. Highlight of the Week
A LEGEND VISITS RST
We had the incredible privilege of welcoming Chelsea FC legend Gianfranco Zola for an unforgettable afternoon on Monday, 3rd March. The footballing icon spent time interacting with students, sharing his vast knowledge and even helping to coach our aspiring footballers during special training sessions. Students eagerly engaged with Gianfranco, seizing the opportunity to ask questions about his career and experiences as well as what he believes makes a truly great footballer. His insights and advice left a lasting impression on all who attended, providing inspiration for those hoping to follow in his legendary footsteps. To cap off an amazing visit, students had the chance to personally thank Gianfranco, who graciously stayed behind to sign memorabilia and take photos. His generosity and passion for the game made the day even more special, leaving our students with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
A huge thank you to Gianfranco Zola for his time and inspiration, we hope to welcome him back in the future. Also special thanks goes to Mr Torresani, who was instrumental in gaining this opportunity for our School and to Mr Holland and Mr Birnie for the smooth coordination of the event.

CELEBRATING READING ACROSS THE SCHOOL
World Book Day is a vibrant occasion dedicated to promoting the love of reading throughout our School community. In Senior School, students were encouraged to share their favourite books, discuss impactful characters and highlight the stories that resonate with them. As part of our efforts to normalise and popularise reading, we will showcase student testimonials and videos on screens throughout the School, all in celebration of our Rugby Readers initiative.
On Thursday morning, 20 of our Year 9 students visited Year 1 and Year 2 to read stories with the hope of inspiring our youngest readers. In addition, our youngest students from Reception were warmly welcomed in the Senior School in the afternoon with cookies and milk before they set off to various locations, including the Tudor House Base Room, The Collingwood Centre, the Senior Library and the Blackbox Theatre. They were hosted by Mr Groves (Head of Senior), Dr Grindlay (Deputy Head Academic) and our Year 13 students, creating wonderful interactions between our oldest and youngest learners. We hope that this experience will encourage a love for literature that spans across age groups. Our aim is to instill a lifelong appreciation for reading, inspiring future generations along the way.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH GOLD QUALIFYING JOURNEY
Our students took on their Gold Qualifying Journey with grit and determination, navigating the beautiful waterways of Kanchanaburi and camping under the stars. More than just a physical challenge, it was a masterclass in teamwork, motivation and support. We are thrilled to celebrate their incredible accomplishment.

NATIVE STORY TIME
A huge thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers, who came to visit us and read us beautiful stories in our home languages last week. The children love to converse in their own language, listening happily to the stories that are shared, so your help is greatly appreciated. Native Story Time has become a key part of our reading curriculum, and reminds us of how important it is for our children to learn in both English and their home language. We look forward to hosting our next story time in term 3.

YEAR 2 ART
Our Year 2 Hedgehogs have been busy transforming the classroom into a vibrant gallery of the four seasons. Using colour pencils and splashes of paint, they have been bringing Spring blossoms, Summer sunshine, Autumn fiery leaves and Winter frosty landscapes to life. They have been true Teamwork Tigers showing their collaborative spirit by working together to create stunning seasonal masterpieces.

Boarding Life

Last Friday, Year 7 students were invited to Marshall House for a sleepover. Despite a busy School week everyone had plenty of energy for a pool party, CGA games and playing in the house, with a delicious barbecue to keep them well-fueled.
