Reminders
UNWELL CHILDREN
If your child has a fever or is unwell, we kindly ask that parents keep them at home to help prevent the spread of germs. Giving children medicine and then sending them to School only masks their symptoms which then come out again later in the day when the medicine has worn off. Nurse Koy is very careful to ensure she checks children with symptoms and if they are deemed to be unwell then they must go home. We understand that this may not always be convenient for parents but it is important that children who are unwell get the rest they need at home. We ask for your support by not sending in unwell children and to collect them from School should the Nurse request this. Your cooperation is truly appreciated.

MUSIC SHARING MAGIC
Our Year 1 and 2 musicians shone brightly in our Music Sharing sessions this week. With Go-for-it Gorillas and Persevering Penguins bravely stepping up to perform, they have shown courage and commitment in sharing their talents. Our Proud Peacocks beamed with confidence after each performance, while our Caring Koalas showed true kindness by listening attentively and cheering on their friends. Music lessons truly nurture not only skills, but also young hearts.

FOREST SCHOOL WORKSHOP
Miss Sarah and Mr Chris led a fantastic, interactive workshop for parents ahead of our official Forest School launch in August. Despite the weather forcing them inside, the session was a brilliant mix of creativity, laughter, communication and teamwork. Attendees were challenged to build something strong enough to hold a grown adult, using a small selection of resources provided to them. Thankfully, our forest school parents were up to the task and produced some solid structures using only wooden sticks, ropes and scissors. They rolled up their sleeves and became “Teamwork Tigers” just like their children - demonstrating leadership, communication, perseverance and had plenty of fun along the way. It was wonderful to see our parents stepping into their children’s shoes —experiencing the same hands-on learning, problem-solving and reflection that Forest School inspires every day.

SPORTS UPDATE
Over the last week, more than 150 students from our School have been participating in various sporting events both at our incredible RST facilities and across other Bangkok schools. The students showcased their dedication and enthusiasm in multiple competitions, achieving notable results and gaining valuable sporting experiences.
BPS International 7s Football Tournament
Six teams travelled to the BPS International 7s, a two-day football tournament, competing across the U11, U13 and U15 age groups. The event was filled with outstanding performances and more importantly, a strong sense of community as the students supported each other both on and off the field. Highlights include:
- U11 Boys: Plate Champions - A huge congratulations to our U11 boys who powered their way to victory and brought home the plate trophy.
- U11 Girls: Plate Runners-Up - Our U11 girls also put in an amazing effort, finishing as plate runners-up.
- U13 Boys: Reaching the Semi-Finals Our U13 boys battled hard and made it to the semi-finals. They narrowly missed out on a place in the final after a tough loss on penalties – we're so proud of their determination.
- U15 Girls: Plate Runners-Up Fantastic work from our U15 girls who also secured the plate runners-up position.
U12 Badminton
More than 25 opponents from Ruamrudee International School (RIS) travelled to our School to meet 15 of our U12 badminton players for a friendly fixture. Each player managed a minimum of five matches, gaining essential match practice ahead of upcoming tournaments. The fixture proved to be a valuable and enjoyable experience for all involved.
U14 Badminton
A team of 16 students travelled to Bangkok to compete against RIS. Facing tough opposition, our students displayed resilience and a strong work ethic, battling for every point. Despite the challenge, the players enjoyed the competition and came away with worthy match experience.
U14 Boys Rugby and Girls Touch
In our first major schools rugby tournament, both the U14 boys and girls teams displayed great sportsmanship and determination across the two-day event. The boys team performed admirably, finishing 4th out of seven teams, while the girls team gained invaluable experience in touch rugby, further developing their skills for future matches.
U11 Mini Volleyball Festival
Twelve U11 students represented our School at the mini volleyball festival hosted by RIS, competing as three separate teams. Each player participated in multiple games, gaining practical experience that will serve them well in the upcoming tournament at Bangkok Patana School. The festival was an excellent opportunity to develop team coordination and volleyball skills.
International Schools' Golf Tour
Our golf team is celebrating a landmark achievement, having secured the Nett Order of Merit title for the 2024/25 season on the International Schools’ Golf Tour. Along the way, the team claimed multiple Nett wins and celebrated a series of individual Gross victories, showcasing both depth and talent throughout the squad. As we look ahead to next year, our School is hosting a three day tournament with WAGR approval for U16 ages and above in early December. This should be a fantastic event and we look forward to seeing schools from across South-East Asia compete.

TAKE CARE KIDS
On Tuesday evening, Saki, Julie, TaKe, Meeya and Sophie from Marshall House visited Take Care Kids with Miss Lurica to donate the money that was raised from our recent charity events. In total, 15.2k THB was raised from our Marshall House Market Day and 5.7k THB was raised from our movie nights. Everyone was really excited to meet each other and our boarders did a fantastic job of asking the Take Care Kids children and staff lots of questions. They also saw how tidy the bedrooms were and said it inspired them to take better care of their own rooms. Thank you to everyone involved in raising this money - especially Miss Lurica who models what it means to be kind and globally minded to all around her.
