CHARITY EVENTS
Our wonderful Parents’ Association, the RSTPA, are organising two events for the RST community this year. A Charity Golf Day, which will be held at Siam Country Club on the 13th November 2022, and a Christmas Fair, which will be held at Wisdom Valley on the 26th November 2022.
The events will help to raise money for two of the School’s charities with proceeds from the Golf Day going to Baan Jing Jai Children's Home, and money raised from the Christmas Fair going to support the Tamar Centre. Both events will be promoted and attended by parents, students, teachers, and other friends of the School.
The RSTPA would like to invite you to support these events through sponsorship opportunities that have been created for influential members of our community.

INSPECTION
We were pleased to welcome four inspectors from the Education Development Trust and the British Schools Overseas accreditation bodies to inspect us last week. They spent four days with us looking at our teaching and learning, the students' personal development, our pastoral care, boarding and our enrichment programme.
Over the four days, they observed many lessons and held over 38 sets of meetings with various members of our community, including representatives of the RSTPA and many students across all parts of the School. They also spent time in the boarding houses and looked closely at our Child Protection and Health and Safety protocols.
Thank you to all of the parents and students who completed the pre-inspection questionnaire that helped guide the inspectors to their eventual conclusions and recommendations.
We are not allowed to announce the results of this inspection until it has been through various edits and re-drafts, but we can say that we were pleased with the rigour and perception the inspectors brought to their inspection and the constructive recommendations they are proposing. As soon as we are able to release the findings, we will, of course, let you know and also publish the report on the website.
