Enrichment
JUNIOR CHEFS
Students in the junior chef cooking class honed their knife skills and safety skills with a hands-on rainbow fruit skewer recipe. They were artistic, creative and very safe.
ECO QUEST
This week, Eco Quest visited the Senior building to see how nature spaces have been incorporated into the design. We saw lots of natural plants that help keep the space fresh and cool, as well as newly planted trees. We saw how the bridge that connects the buildings has been adapted to allow a tree to grow through, and we were treated to wonderful views of the jungle spaces that are close to School. We saw the difference between nature in the built environment and wilderness, which gave a thought-provoking contrast.
Boarding
Last weekend, our full boarders took part in 'The Great Boarding Bake Off'. Teams of two or three were challenged to bake and decorate cupcakes from the recipe supplied, which were then judged by Mrs Windsor's husband and daughter (someone has to do the hard jobs!).
While it was 10/10 all-round for effort and enjoyment, some teams were less successful in their baking mission... like the team who forgot to include any butter!!!
If you're interested in boarding - or would like to book your child in for a trial night - get in touch with our Director of Boarding: dennisbilling@rugbyschool.ac.th
