WISDOM FIRST RESIDENCE
RSTPA COOKING CLASSES
Our Year 7 & 8 RSTPA Rep, Alena, has been the most encouraging and superb rep. Alena has been instrumental in organising our monthly cooking classes, which have been wonderfully successful. Here is a message from her:
A huge thank you to all of the parents who have supported and contributed to our RSTPA cooking classes. There have been an incredible 10 cooking classes this year, which is absolutely brilliant! We started in hot Italy, and after continuing to delicious France, we went to India, then celebrated Christmas in Germany. We visited the delicious Philippines, and celebrated Lunar New Year in China. We tried unusual food in Russia and celebrated Songkran in Thailand; we ate a lot of vegetarian food in Korea and enjoyed decorating sushi in Japan. This has been such a lovely journey, which has brought us closer together as a community and we have made new friends and shared special recipes. We started with a small group, but we now have 164 members! It’s a great effort, of which I am very proud.
Next academic year, we will continue to make our community stronger and bigger, starting with Greece in September. I hope to see all of you and some new faces. Thank you to our amazing team.

EARPHONES
As we approach the final half-term of the year, could we ask for a final push on students bringing earphones to School:
- We recommend bringing earphones rather than over-ear headphones so they may fit in pencil cases
- We discourage bringing expensive earphones such as Beats or AirPods due to the ease of loss
- The required device equipment can be found below and on the Digital Learning website.
As always, don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. More information is on the Digital Learning website.

Highlights of the Week
DANCE SHOW
Last week, we showcased some of our Dance Activity in our Dance Show. Children from Nursery through to Year 3 participated to a packed audience that completely filled the Pre-Prep Assembly Hall. It was lovely to see the different styles of dance and the different abilities as you go through School. Thank you to Khun Mod and Khun Beau for their support. Miss Lyndall's singing club also joined with two fantastic songs to open the show. Thank you everyone.
PROUD PEACOCK DAY
Tuesday was Proud Peacock Day in Pre-Prep. We spent the day learning about how we can show we are proud, what it means to be proud and when we should be proud of both ourselves and our friends. Our teachers gave us lots of opportunities to show or talk about times when we had been proud, and then we spent the afternoon completing activities that made us feel proud. Here are some photos of us being 'proud' of ourselves throughout the day.
Asia (Year 2) has made her own book all about Rugby School Thailand. She did this voluntarily and in her own time. Well done, Asia for showing us your excellent ideas and your superb writing skills.

BOARDERS' BARBECUE
It was fantastic to see lots of our boarding families at our half-term barbecue. It was a great opportunity for the house staff to chat with parents, while everyone enjoyed some food and rounds of disc golf before heading home.
YEAR 6 SLEEPOVER
The Year 6 sleepover was a big success; Marshall House was excited to welcome so many new faces for a Friday night sleepover.
The afternoon started with a pool party and tee ball on the pitches, where the Year 6s showed good sportsmanship and had loads of fun. A delicious barbecue outside followed, with disc golf and some free play.
The evening was full of board games, movies, ping pong, face masks and stories. Everyone had a lovely time, and it was wonderful to see so many Year 6s take on this unique opportunity to spend a night with their friends in Marshall House.
We hope to see you again soon!

INTERNSHIP AND VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
In our second English lesson at Wat Khao Mai Kaew school, we focused on hobbies and sport. The students enthusiastically participated in a Bingo Hobbies & Sports game and spoke out loud, which helped them learn new vocabulary and practise their speaking skills in a fun and interactive way. The game encouraged the students to talk about their favourite activities, ask questions, and share their interests with their classmates.
The room was filled with laughter and lively discussions as everyone engaged in the lesson. It was a fantastic experience for both the students and volunteers, making learning English enjoyable and memorable.
We look forward to many more fun-filled lessons ahead!
